Ingredients
- 4 large gala apples: peeled, cored, and medium diced
- 2 sticks of salted butter
- 1 cup water
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 2 tablespoon salt
Instructions
- In a small pot, add water, butter, bay leaves, thyme,
rosemary, and salt. Heat on medium high until butter is
completely melted. - Turn down heat to medium low and add apples.
- Continue to cook until apples are just barely fork tender. You
are looking for an “al dente” finish, meaning the fruit should still
have some “snap” to it. - Serve immediately.
