Mingolo mangoes are small to medium-sized, oval-shaped fruits that ripen from green to a deep golden yellow. Their firm, juicy flesh is bright yellow and contains moderate fibers. Inside, the flavor is intensely sweet with notes of peach, Valencia orange, and turbinado sugar. The aroma is fragrant and tropical, and the mango contains a medium-sized seed. Grown primarily in the Dominican Republic, Mingolo mangoes are available from March through July.
